Eric has a wife, three grown children and four wonderful grandkids.  Eric enjoys watching sports, especially NASCAR, every chance he gets.  With over 35 years of experience in Lutheran education, Eric has to say that time has given him this perspective:  “God loves us and wants us to love Him in return; God has given each child unique abilities – it is up to me to identify them and allow them to be used to each child’s best ability; and striving toward excellence is something that must be worked on each and every day.”

Education: BS in Education from Concordia University Seward.  Masters in Education Leadership from Grand Valley State University.

Favorite scripture: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

Third - Eighth Grade Teacher

For 27 years Dawn has been allowed, by God, to teach His children; not only about the Savior’s love, but also to instill in each child a thirst for excellence.  Dawn is currently teaching fourth-eighth grades at Good Shepherd. In the past she has taught all grades except first grade.  Dawn is a wife, a mother of three grown children, and the proud grandmother of four.

Education:  BS in Education from Concordia University Seward

Melissa is Pastor Koltz’ wife, together they have two daughter’s, Grace and Abigail and a family dog, Treasure.

Education: Degree from University of Northern Colorado in Elmentary Education and an Associates in Early Childhood.

Laura is married to Chuck, has four daughters and one grandchild.  When Laura is not teaching preschool, she enjoys pickle ball, water volleyball, crochet and quilting.  Something else that Laura is proud of is that she is a fifth-generation Lutheran church worker in the US on her dad’s side of the family.

Education:  Elementary at Trinity, Utica; Secondary at Lutheran High School North and College, Concordia, River Forest, IL B.A.
